Privacy Policy
1. About this application
Crafty Rose Social Studio (the "Studio") is a private tool that Crafty Rose Gifts uses to plan, schedule and publish content to its own social media accounts and to view statistics for those accounts. The Studio is not offered to the public. Only the owner of Crafty Rose Gifts can sign in and use it.
2. Information the Studio accesses
When the owner connects a social media account, the Studio uses that platform's official sign-in process (OAuth) and receives only the permissions the owner approves. Depending on the platform, this can include:
- Basic account or page profile details, such as the account name, username, profile picture and account ID.
- Permission to publish photos, videos, Reels, Shorts and Pins to the connected account.
- Statistics and insights for the connected account and its posts, such as followers, views, reach, likes, comments, shares and saves, where the platform provides them.
- Access tokens issued by the platform so the Studio can act on the owner's behalf.
The Studio never asks for, receives or stores social media passwords.
3. How the information is used
Information is used only to:
- Publish and schedule content that the owner has created and approved.
- Show publishing status, errors and history.
- Display account and post performance statistics to the owner.
Information is not sold, rented, shared with advertisers, or used for any purpose other than operating the Studio for Crafty Rose Gifts.
4. Where information is stored
- Content and media (captions, schedules, photos and videos) are stored in the owner's private Google account using Google Drive and Google Sheets.
- Access tokens are stored in Google Apps Script's private property storage, which is accessible only to the owner's Google account. They are not kept in spreadsheets or documents.
- Content is sent to a social media platform only when the owner chooses to publish or schedule it to that platform.
5. Platform-specific information
YouTube and Google
The Studio uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a YouTube account, the owner agrees to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. The Studio's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Access can be revoked at any time from the Google security settings page.
Facebook and Instagram (Meta)
Access can be removed at any time in Facebook under Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations, or in Instagram under Settings → Apps and websites.
TikTok
Access can be removed at any time in the TikTok app under Settings and privacy → Security → Apps and services permissions.
Access can be removed at any time in Pinterest under Settings → Security and logins → Apps.
6. Data retention
Account details and statistics are kept only as long as the account remains connected to the Studio. When an account is disconnected, its access tokens are deleted immediately, and stored account details and statistics are deleted within 30 days. Content the owner has created in the Studio remains in the owner's Google account until the owner deletes it.
7. Data deletion requests
To have data related to a connected account deleted:
- Disconnect the account in the Studio, or remove the Studio's access in the platform's settings as described above, or
- Email craftyrosegifts@gmail.com with the subject "Data deletion request" and the platform and account name.
Requests are completed within 30 days, and a confirmation is sent by email.
8. Security
The Studio uses each platform's official, secure sign-in process and encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Access is limited to the owner's Google account. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but reasonable measures are taken to protect information.
9. Children
The Studio is a business tool and is not directed at children.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
